ANDERSON, John O. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Funeral services for John O. Anderson, age 56, former resident of Covington and Lafayette, who died Friday, Nov. 1, in the Colorado General Hospital in Denver, were held here at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at the Hegg Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Cutts officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery at Rantoul, Ill. Mr. Anderson had been in ill health several years. He was formerly employed at Purdue University and the Harrison Steel Co. before moving west. Born Nov. 2, 1906 at Dewey, Ill., he was the son of Arnie and Ethel Hamm Anderson. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, John and Jerry Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Jeannette Painter of Mellott. A half-sister preceded him in death.
